About Andrew Stabback
Andrew Stabback is the Founder and Managing Director of Australian Financial Publications, a financial media company that produces, manages and delivers magazines, online newsletters, conferences, forums, briefings and custom communications.
After returning from London in the mid-90’s he gained extensive media experience in major publishing firms including News Limited and Pacific Publications.
Andrew starting working in business development area in the financial services sector in 2000. In 2002 he commenced a partnership with the Australian Securitisation Forum and delivered the first Australian Securitisation Conference. This event still remains the leading securitisation conference in the Asia Pacific region.
He formed InAssociation in late 2005 to continue building relationships with industry associations and financial institutions.
In 2008, Australian Financial Publications was formed when InAssociation and Australian Banking and Finance magazine came together during the global financial crisis.
Since 2008 the brand AB+F has provided the most comprehensive coverage of the Australian, New Zealand and Asian banking, finance, capital markets, insurance, banking and finance technology, and professional development sectors via the magazine, online newsletter and events.
Andrew regularly features in industry columns, panel discussions and roundtables that discuss major topics shaping the financial services sector and Australian and global economy with the big four banks CEOs, second tier financial institutions and leading Australian regulators and institutional investors.
Through delivering high quality industry news and events via AB+F magazine and online, AFP (Australian Financial Publication’s) continues to be at the forefront of the reform agenda for the financial services sector in Australia and the region.
Andrew remains passionate about financial industry reform, sailing bike riding and trying to spend more time with his family.
