Ashley has over 27 years’ experience as a company director including over 20 years as an Experteq director and until October 2019 was employed as Chief Executive Officer of Sydney Mutual Bank Union Ltd.
John Tancevski
John is a non-executive director and has spent over half his career working in senior and general management positions with medium and large sized credit unions and previously had a diverse background in the steel, manufacturing, oil and health industries.
John has extensive experience in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance; finance and treasury; risk management; compliance and information technology.
He has over 20 years’ experience as a company director including 17 years as a Experteq director.
Mark Worthington
Mark is a non-executive director with extensive experience in the management and governance of mutual banking organisations. He has over 24 years’ experience as a company director including 17 years as an Experteq director.
Mark has worked in senior executive roles in credit unions and mutual banks. He is currently CEO of Australian Mutual Bank, where he was responsible for conversion from credit union to bank status as well as launching Australia’s first dot bank domain. He was previously CEO of Endeavour Mutual Bank. Mark brings finance, risk, and governance experience to the Board.
Greg Booker
Greg Booker is a non-executive director with extensive experience in Technology, with a specific focus on Digital, Innovation, and Automation.
He has over 9 years’ experience as a company director including 6 years as an Experteq director.
Greg has worked in senior executive and non-executive roles in several organisations including St George Bank, ING Australia, ANZ Bank, and RACQ. He held senior roles for 23 years, including Chief Information Officer where he was responsible for both Global and Group wide Technology, Innovation, Automation and Digital at multiple organisations.
Greg brings deep finance, risk, governance, and technology experience to the Board, gained from 32 years of experience in large organisations across financial services and non-regulated entities.
Tony Forward
Tony is a non-executive director with extensive experience as an executive in wealth management, general insurance, life insurance, retail and investment banking.
He has over 11 years’ experience as a company director including 4 years as an Experteq director.
Tony has held senior executive roles for several decades, including Chief Information Officer at BT Financial Group and QBE Australia and NZ.
Tony brings deep technology, risk, governance, M&A and strategic experience to the Board, gained from his role as part of the executive leadership of large and small businesses, including as Director of Transformation, Wealth Management, for the $15bn Westpac/St George Bank merger in 2008.
Danny Pavisic
Danny is a non-executive director with extensive experience in the management and governance of mutual banking organisations.
Danny has over 40 years’ experience within the financial services industry having a background in strategy, risk and compliance and product management. He has worked in senior roles with a major Australian bank as well as the peak Credit Union body, CUSCAL. Danny has over 12 years governance experience and is also currently director of Shared Service Partners and Upstairs Regional Incubator Bathurst.
Danny’s professional qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and overseas study.
Barney Burke
Barney is a non-executive director and brings a wealth of banking and financial services experience, having worked globally in the sector for more than 25 years.
Barney joined RACQ in August 2021 and is Chief Executive Banking, responsible for leading and executing RACQ Bank’s strategy and supporting the broader RACQ Group purpose to drive a positive future for all Queenslanders. Prior to joining RACQ, he held leadership positions at Suncorp, Barclays, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse.
Barney is passionate about supporting others in the community, dedicating time volunteering with organisations that help the homeless and serving on the Board of a Brisbane-based domestic violence not-for-profit organisation.
