Shane has 20 years’ experience in technology spanning a range of businesses covering hosting, managed services, enterprise software and professional services, with a major focus on the financial services sector.
Prior to his career in technology, Shane held senior roles in the financial services sector with companies such as Holden National Leasing and Western Union. In his various roles, Shane has gained experience working internationally, particularly in the Asia Pacific region.
Shane is forward thinking and strategically minded and likes to drive business growth through strong vision, strategy and execution. Shane has a thirst for practical knowledge and has been a member of the CEO Institute since 2012, achieving his Certified CEO accreditation. He is passionate about his role at Experteq, the strong team he leads and his dynamic board, who are all leaders in the financial services and technology industry. Shane is also passionate about the technology industry and the rapid change it is undertaking and the opportunities and possibilities this creates for Experteq and its customers.
Patrick brings to Experteq extensive leadership and management experience, and a wealth of technical expertise having worked in managed and professional services, and cloud services for over 20 years.
Prior to joining Experteq, Patrick held senior positions in companies including Insight and Data#3. With deep domain experience in managed and professional services, he has very successfully developed, implemented and grown businesses from the front over the last two decades. He will help expand the Experteq client base to other industries seeking similar standards, as well as our portfolio of solutions.
Mike Cullen
Mike leads financial strategy and operations across Experteq with a strong technical and commercial focus gained from 30 years of experience in service-based businesses including as CFO for ACS the professional association for the IT sector.
As Company Secretary, Mike also ensures best-practice governance, compliance, and corporate risk management for our clients, members and external regulators.
Mike is a CPA and NSW Divisional Councillor of CPA Australia. He has an MBA with distinction from Melbourne Business School and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Juliet partners with senior leadership teams to identify and execute their people and culture roadmap in order to achieve their business strategy.
Juliet has extensive experience across the Fintech and Professional Services industries across the Asia Pacific region.
Darren brings to Experteq over 20 years of leadership experience in the IT, telecommunications, and banking sectors. Darren is a results-driven leader with a deep understanding of Managed Services, managing IT operations, service delivery and driving transformation programs. Prior to Experteq, Darren has held senior positions at Datacom, Optus Enterprise, Sparq NZ, Telstra, Colonial Insurance, and NAB. Darren brings with him a wealth of experience driving operational transformation and working closely with Customers to achieve the business outcomes they require and leading service delivery and technical teams. Darren will provide Experteq with the operational expertise to lead an effective and efficient managed IT services business, whilst ensuring Customers receive the highest levels of service.
David Brown
Since January 2024, David has served as the Director of Transformation at Experteq, where he leverages his extensive experience in leading program and integrated service delivery teams. With a proven track record in business transformation, David excels in developing and managing strategic and operational plans, driving continuous improvement in customer experience, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Before joining Experteq, David held senior leadership roles at Macquarie Telecom, NBN, Optus, and Telstra, where he oversaw large-scale projects and achieved significant business outcomes. His strong skills in customer focus, stakeholder management, and program delivery have enabled him to successfully lead diverse teams and cultivate partnerships that drive results.
David holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Technology Management and is an ITIL V3 Expert. He is committed to continuously enhancing his leadership and operational capabilities through ongoing professional development.
