Experteq announces partnership with KnowBe4, a leading global security awareness training provider

Published on October 14, 2021

Monday 4 October 2021 – Sydney, Australia. Experteq announces today a new partnership with KnowBe4 (knowbe4.com), the provider of the world’s largest security awareness training and simulated phishing platform. As a leader in security awareness training recognised by industry analyst Forrester in their Q1 2020 WaveTM Report on Security Awareness and Training Solutions, KnowBe4 uses cutting edge technologies to provide a highly effective, simulated training experience to address the human element in security. This way, companies have the in-house skills and knowledge to enhance their data security efforts.

The partnership is timely with Cybersecurity still a significant concern for business leaders, especially in financial services. According to recent research by Deloitte, 47% of individuals have fallen for a phishing scam whilst working from home during the pandemic.

To address this ongoing problem, together with KnowBe4, Experteq is providing its clients access to state-of-the-art simulated training to help further protect companies’ IT systems but also raise awareness of looming security threats. The result is heightened security and enhanced internal capability to manage data security and phishing on an ongoing basis proactively.

Experteq will onboard clients onto the platform and provide one-on-one assistance and support as part of Experteq’s dedicated offering. For those clients where Experteq provides email services via Exchange Online, Experteq will also arrange for Direct Message Injection, eliminating the need for whitelisting.

John Griffin, Experteq COO, says, “Cybersecurity is still a real concern for business leaders”. During October, Cybersecurity Awareness month, it is important for leaders to remember the importance of being proactive and strategic in managing their security.

We hope to be an important part of the solution by helping organisations to not only secure their entire digital operations but also to ensure that their teams are well equipped to protect customer data and know what to look out for with the increase in security breaches and phishing scams.” ~ ENDS
