Experteq announced today the internal promotion of Stephen Frede to Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), to focus on the expansion and evolution of Experteq’s security services in 2023 whilst upholding the organisation’s high standards of information security for highly regulated industries.
Stephen brings with him over 40 years of experience in information technology, with over 30 years specialising in information security. As an information security expert, he recognises the importance of understanding the technical detail behind information security issues and systems, to make accurate real-world risk assessments and implement cost-effective long-term solutions. Stephen has also held key positions and been directly responsible for the information security in several large organisations such as JP Morgan, Sydney Water and Ausgrid, overseeing and applying his technical skill and experience strategically.
